Could you go a week without wearing any makeup at all?  A whole week…even to church?

I remember Oprah did a show on this.  She used several women who were obsessed with their makeup.

One woman was near the end of her pregnancy, and would wash her face every night, and then redo her makeup right away so that if she were to go into labor at night, she would have it done to go to the hospital.
It’s amazing though, how celebrities look like real people when you see them without their makeup on.  In fact, some of them look downright homely.

I was raised that I should always try to look my best.  And to me, that means makeup.  I don’t like how I look without it.  That could be because I have been wearing it since I was 12.  I don’t feel that I wear an obsessive amount.  In fact, I hate liquid foundation.  It’s just too heavy.  I use a mineral foundation, and I love how it covers, but it is still light.  I also use blush, eye liner, mascara, and lipstick.

So, do you think you could go a whole week without it?

I don’t know if I could.

I have, but I didn't feel "presentable."

I almost don't care about makeup. I only wear mascara and maybe half the time forget that. I realized part way through church last Sunday that I hadn't put any on. Stopped at the bathroom on the way to primary and threw some on....but yeah, a week wouldn't be hard at all for me. lol

I probably went a whole month without make-up when I was sick and pregnant with Camberlyn. My neighbor said, "Heidi usually looks so put together, but you can tell she is really sick because she looks terrible." Nice huh? I guess my make-up prevents me from looking horrible although I wear very minimal- foundation, mascara, (eye-liner sometimes) and a light lip color or gloss. I guess it's enough to make me look sane.

I just wrote a post about make-up too. ALl though I always feel better when I have make-up on I typically do not put it on unless I am going to be going out. Even then, I only use mascara, lip gloss, and blush. It does make me feel pretty.

Could I go a week? No way! I have to overcompensate for the size of my butt. The exception is during the summer when we're going swimming everyday - pointless and I wear sunglasses to camoflauge my identity since I can't camoflauge my butt.
